New hires bolster operations across logistics, finance, technology and customs compliance
FLS Group, one of Wales’ fastest-growing logistics businesses, has made 12 new appointments across the UK and Lithuania over the past six months, marking a significant phase of expansion for the company.
The hires span every area of the business, including FLS Connect, FLS Forward, and FLS Customs, as well as new roles in finance and data-led technology. These appointments are part of the group’s long-term strategy to scale its operations across Europe and strengthen its position as a modern, tech-driven logistics partner.
Founded in 2016, FLS Group operates without its own trucks or warehouses. Instead, it provides smart, end-to-end supply chain solutions across three core divisions:
- FLS Connect: Outsourced logistics management using digital platforms, covering UK and European transport, warehousing, contract logistics, customs, data insights, and emissions tracking.
- FLS Forward: Digital freight forwarding and road transport across the UK and Europe, offering instant pricing, live load tracking, and access to a 55,000-vehicle network.
- FLS Customs: Specialist customs brokerage and compliance services, including express declarations, transit documentation, and a 24/7 client portal.
This latest recruitment wave follows a transformational period for FLS. In the past 12 months, the group has completed a successful management buyout backed by the Development Bank of Wales, acquired European logistics firm Logiquanta, and launched Emissions Manager, its GLEC-accredited platform enabling clients to monitor and reduce freight-related carbon emissions.
Ieuan Rosser, CEO of FLS Group, said:
“These appointments reflect our confidence in the future of FLS and our commitment to sustainable growth across Europe. We’ve built a modern, responsive logistics model that thrives on talent, tech and transparency. The team we’re building now forms the operational engine of our next chapter.”
